Conservation orchard for the preservation and replanting of old regional fruit varieties.
On a 2.3 ha plot, we have a collection of 360 trees, 140 varieties of apples, 40 varieties of pears and a few varieties of plums. All the trees have been grafted with transplants from the region's traditional orchards: Pays de Gex, Michaille, Valserine.
Guided tours for children, groups of all ages, specialists or amateurs, on request or during special events ("Journées du patrimoine", "Rendez-vous au verger", etc.). Visitors can wander along the discovery trail on their own, following the signposts and reading the explanatory panels in the room.
Our volunteers put on a range of events to suit the season and the public.
Our varieties are exhibited at the Fête du Verger Tiocan in early October, and can be seen until April.
Tasting and sale of apple juice, according to availability, all year round (+ apples in season). 20-minute film on the orchard's activities throughout the year.
