The Golf Loop, starting in Mijoux, is a walk accessible to all. It's a varied walk, with coniferous forest, beautiful stretches at the finish of the golf course, all with the gentle sound of water flowing from the river.
A sumptuous walk to discover the Valserine with its magical snow-covered landscapes.
The trail can be used on snowshoes or on foot.
Accessible to families, with sledges and children.
This trail can only be done in winter, when there's snow, and is marked out.
Guidebook with maps/step-by-step: Leaving Mijoux from the tourist office, take the Charlemagne bridge (snowshoes in hand), up to the left of Saint Christophe, the Mijoux church. From here, put on your snowshoes, and the trail reveals itself in the field opposite the church. It then turns right and follows the path under the Monthoiseau. Cross the Couture road, then take the Couture path, following it just before the Golf course. From this point, the path turns right and crosses a small bridge to the other side of the Valserine. The path skirts the Pellagrue cross-country ski trail, and returns to Mijoux through the coniferous woods.
