A very pleasant sporting route with beautiful views.
The first part of the route takes in the “balcony” above the village of Lancrans, before joining the Voie du Tram and then the banks of the Valserine in the second part.
Most of the route is on wide paths, with a good climb at the start and a very technical section after the Pont des Pierres.
Then you return along the Valserine on a path that is very popular with hikers, so be careful.
Visitor alert: Please note: as of 22/12/2022 and until further notice, pedestrian and cyclist traffic is forbidden between Craz and Pont de Coz. A landslide and destruction of fittings have made the passage impassable and dangerous. A municipal by-law is in place. Please keep to the mountain bike itinerary, and watch out for hikers, who now use the same path.
