VTTAE Circuit – La Beaumette – Lajoux

This walk takes you through the high alpine pastures of the Jura. Stroll around fields of multicolored flowers, and savor every moment!

A ride for every type of profile, the itinerary includes forest sections, road sections, white trails, etc. With a beautiful view of the Faucille when you get to Lajoux, it's the ideal way to discover VTTAE riding.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step: Marking is the same as for the hike.From La Faucille, head for Mijoux on the GR9 (red and white), descending via the ski slope.Once in Mijoux, stay on the GR9 via rue Royale, the route passes to the left of the church and then climbs to the right of the road, continuing on this path until you reach the entrance to the village of Lajoux.From here, turn right onto the "content" path which runs alongside the "des Forêts Monts" road. Stay on this road until it intersects with the "Chatelaine" path on the right, which leads to the end of the combe.Turn right under the undergrowth until you reach the GR path.Take the same path back to Mijoux and then La Faucille.
