Voie verte: Gex-Divonne, along the old railroad line

A fun, bucolic ride for the whole family. Recommended bikes: MTB or VTC.
The outward direction is easier than the return.
Users of this greenway: pedestrians (and/or with dogs) and cyclists.

Accessible to mountain bikes, mountain bikes, ATVs (road bikes not recommended). Linear route.

The greenway has 3 different surfaces:

- Section: Gex Gare to Tutegny: sand-colored bonded gravel.

- Section: Tutegny to Grilly Ouest: grey bonded gravel road.

- Section: Grilly Est to Divonne Gare: tarmac road.

All crossings are secured by gates, making it necessary to cross on foot.

Start/finish points: Gex, near the "Restaurant de la Gare". Divonne: at the "Avenue du Mont Mussy" junction.

The return itinerary is identical to the outward journey.

Beware of the width of the greenway, which is narrow in places. (max 2 people abreast on bikes). Be vigilant in case of heavy traffic.

The highway code applies. Ride on the right.

Allow around 45/50 minutes for the outward journey and a little over 1h00 for the return. by mountain bike ... this is an average!
