Safety :Nordic activities do not present any major risks, but they should nevertheless be approached with caution. We strongly advise you to check your physical fitness and adapt your outing to your physical abilities. And don't forget to tell your family and friends about the outing you're planning. As Nordic sites are often very large and sometimes interconnected, it's a good idea to take along a map of the ski area (available at the trailheads) or on the interactive map. To improve your technique, as well as for off-piste walks, the best solution is to call on the services of a cross-country ski instructor or mid-mountain guide.
