New this year at La Forestière is the GRAVEL.
La Forestière is now part of the cycling landscape. We felt it was our duty to offer you specific bike tours for this new sport. And now we've done it, with a two-stage tour covering a range of distances - something for all cyclists, even mountain bikers, as these tours are also open to mountain bikers who like to ride on asphalt on a muscle bike or a mountain bike.
Be warned, the routes are difficult with significant differences in altitude.
You must have a GPS on your bike.
Start at 9am.
Gravel ultra: 167 km (4000 m d+)
Day 1: Arbent / Lélex -> 3 routes: 99 km (very difficult 2511m d+), 83 km (escape route Lajoux 2238 m d+), 75 km (escape route St-Claude 2254 m d+)
Day 2: Lélex / Arbent -> 2 routes: 69 km (1449 m d+) and 55 km (Champfromier escape route)
Gravel adventure: 108 km (2674 m d+)
Day 1: Arbent / Lélex -> 1 route: 56 km (difficult 1659 m d+)
Day 2: Lélex / Arbent -> 1 route: 52 km (difficult 1015 m d+)
Gravel course open to mountain bikers and limited to 200 participants. For mountain bikers, we recommend the adventure version.
Accommodation in the village of Lélex offers 2 different sleeping levels.
