I take your hand – documentary by Anne Consigny

They stayed 5 months before Narine died. She was buried on her native soil. I decided to accompany Susanna so as not to leave her alone to make the journey home.

Anne Consigny was renting a room in her home when a mother and her 26-year-old daughter from Armenia arrived like a meteorite in her life. Susanna and her daughter Narine had arrived in France to treat the young girl for a cancer too serious to be treated in Armenia....

I believe in the signs of life, not in chance. If this meeting had taken place, it was because I had to do something with it. The cinematographic format was obvious: I was going to make a documentary film about our meeting.
Making a film about our meeting meant starting by introducing Susanna and Narine as well as myself.
