Readers of the Pays de Gex "Entre Lignes" prize get together to discuss the book selection and vote.
The literary prize, created by the Biblios-unies du Pays de Gex association, of which the Le Châtelard media library in Ferney-Voltaire is a member, is awarded each year to a novel chosen by readers from a selection made by librarians around a theme.
In this Olympic year, the theme is "Line of Touch".
The 2024 selection:
- Le Cœur arrière by Arnaud Dudek (Les Avrils)
- Le Nageur d'Auschwitz by Renaud Leblond (L'Archipel)
- L'Épreuve de Carlo Airoldi (1869-1929), impossible marathonien by Serge Airoldi (Inculte-Dernière Marge)
- Les Fantômes de Séville by Didier Tronchet (La fosse aux ours)
- Les culs-reptiles by Haroun Mahamat-Saleh (Continents noirs/Gallimard).
