Hiking: Divonne-les Bains – Le Marais des Bidonnes

Discover the Marais des Bidonnes, a marshland area listed in the Natura 2000 network to protect wildlife. Azure butterflies, ants and flowers live in harmony. A herd of hardy cows known as "aurochs" has even settled here!

As early as 1265, the Coppet or "Crans" canal carried some of the water from the Versoix (the name given to the Divonne in Switzerland) to the communes of Boggy and Commugny.

Walk from the Pont des Iles along a path with a few educational panels for children. Duration 1h30, flat terrain, risk of mud, in summer, risk of mosquitoes. The Bidonnes marsh straddles the commune of Divonne-les-Bains and Bogis-Bossey in Switzerland. Altitude: 470m. It is one of the last great low marshes at the foot of the Jura mountains.

Part of this hike takes place in a nature reserve. Please respect the regulations.
