2 Molières 2023, 6 nominations.
At the instigation of his mother, who dreamed of being a concert pianist, Glenn Gould began playing the piano at the age of two and a half, and immediately proved to be very gifted. He read music even before he could read or write.
As an adult, he completely revolutionized piano playing, and sold as many records as the biggest rock stars.
But the more the public acclaims him, the more Glenn suffers, as his asperger's and hypochondriac's personality make every concert extremely painful. Not to mention his private life, which is totally sacrificed...
This is the story of the extraordinary and tragic destiny of one of the greatest artists of the 20ᵉ century.
