In Kader Attou's "Prélude", Romain Dubois's music meets the physicality of the dancers. The score, a rhythmic and melodic crescendo, holds the spectator in such intensity that he is quickly caught up in this raw energy.
As much as the performers, he takes part in the journey, participating in the letting go and the final liberation. An "all terrain" piece conceived as an ode to hip-hop.
Dancer, choreographer and artistic director of the Accrorap company, Kader Attou is one of the leading exponents of hip-hop dance. His artistic approach is humanistic and open to the world, fusing influences and breaking down genre barriers. He has contributed to transforming hip-hop into a new dance scene, and to the emergence of an auteur dance recognized as a true French specificity. The Accrorap company has set up in the South of France, at the Friche La Belle de Mai.
