Following the huge success of "BiblioTEK", and after receiving the Coup de Cœur award at the Cirqu'à l'Ouest Festival, Hassan El Hajjami (ex-cirque du Grand Lyon) returns with a new creation.
GRAND CENTRAL STATION, NEW-YORK CITY, 1930.
Elliot, shaken by a formidable hope for a better life, has left the small port of England to try his luck in the United States. Ellis Island, Miss Liberty, the Chrysler Building... all these things made him dream big, but the recession raged on, throwing the unluckiest out into the street. Elliot survives by shining the shoes of gentlemen travelers. One day, torn by hunger, the orphan is attracted by the tinkle of an abandoned suitcase. A few musical notes escape. Elliot recognizes them, and the suitcase also seems familiar... He grabs it and opens it, and finds himself embarked on a wild imaginary adventure, made up of magic, enchantment and surreal encounters... The orphan, through his memories, will go back in time. Will he rediscover the sweetness and love of a family, the kindness of a godmother and the taste of hope? In the end, curiosity isn't always a bad thing...
