1940: It was my mother's death that made me decide to leave our beloved Hungary, which had been damaged by those dogs. Bartók goes into exile in the United States.
In turn, through different characters, 2 violin-playing actors confront Bartók at crucial moments in his life. Marginal, subversive, he fought against established values.
Part fable, part biography, this creation is a theatrical and musical interlude in the heart of the Balkans. Spare and rich, simple and refined.
