Secret garden

We are delighted to welcome Geneva-based photographer Liliroze with her “Secret Gardens” exhibition.

Secret Gardens
An intimate odyssey, sounding like an ode to time and letting go.
Childhood time, passing time, the refuge of happy memories and sensitive recall.
Between illusions and poetry, a journey through indecisive, suspended moments, the antipodes of decisive moments.
Biography
LiliRoze was born in Geneva in 1972. Her passion for photography began at an early age, sparked by the discovery of her father's images, but it was only after completing a degree in econometrics that she decided to devote herself entirely to it. She moved to Paris and graduated from ENS Louis Lumière in 1997. In her early years, she assisted a number of photographers.
LiliRoze nourishes her work with the colors, shadows and people she encounters on her travels. In the descending light, in her camera's chamber, close to confidence, she transcends intimacy like a painting that returns, or reappears, over the centuries. Winner of the first APPPF Photographs of the Year award in 2011, in the Fashion and Beauty and Still Life categories, she now works as a freelance photographer, pursuing her personal research. Her work has been exhibited in France, Switzerland, Brazil, China and Morocco.

“I don't photograph what I see, but what I feel.
Imprecise outlines, echoing blurs that we recognize as the trace of a dream we've already had. A process close to hallucination, on the verge of unconscious revelation, obvious clarity or its shadow, ever denser and more fragile. Everything is concentrated in a second of abandon, where grace and intimacy combine in a gesture suspended in the flight of time.
