Our collaborative exhibition is based on the idea of the constant dialogue that images and imaginative texts (especially poetry) have with each other - even when we're not listening.
Cécile Ossant, a poet from the Ariège region, and photographer Bruno Toffano recently collaborated on a book of short poems illustrated with black and white photographs. Bruno will be exhibiting photos from this book, Au Hasard du Balancier. Painter Joe Pendergast, whose larger-format works on canvas chosen for the exhibition feature painted text and words set among pictorial motifs on the canvas, is also part of the exhibition and will be present at the opening.
