When the fine weather arrives, a desire for new heights is felt. So, to vary from the traditional hike, an afternoon of climbing takes shape.
Then comes the question of the place. The climbing site of La Goulette is ideal
After a few sharp turns on the road between Mijoux and Lajoux, park on a small parking lot. Then you start your adventure by taking the path on the other side of the road and turn right towards the meeting place.
After these few efforts, here is the wall of all the challenges! About twenty routes, from 3C to 5C, will allow you to climb to about 20 meters.
Once equipped with harness, safety carabiners, descender, shoes, helmet… you are finally ready! So, lead or top rope? Which challenge to take up?
Here we go! The first step is taken, there is no question of backing down. As you climb, new sensations appear. Feeling the contact of the rock with your hands, looking for holds along the cracks, feeling a light wind on your body or the warmth of the sun on your skin… These are sensations that make a climber who loves natural routes vibrate and make you feel alive.
Can you hear it? That silence or maybe just the birds singing. This site surrounded by trees and partly shaded will allow you to disconnect and give you a feeling of tranquility.
