Jazz in Fort l'Écluse, the must-attend festival for jazz, soul and blues lovers, presents...
Known as the 'French crooner', singer, pianist and composer Matthieu Boré modernises and democratises generous, high-quality jazz.
Blending the worlds of jazz, rock and blues, he conjures up the great standards and also showcases his songwriting talent with personal compositions. With a passion for New Orleans, Matthieu has over the years developed a repertoire of original compositions and rhythm and blues standards based on the great singer-pianists such as Ray Charles, Allen Toussaint and Professor Longhair. A resolutely light-hearted repertoire, fabulous energy and a real sense of sharing with his audience.
The musicians: Matthieu Boré, vocals, piano; Mathias Luszpinski alias Mat Le Rouge, tenor saxophone; Antoine Pozzo di Borgo, guitar; Gael Pétetin alias G.G. Kong, drums; Antoine Prunel, electric bass.
