La Gelinotte snowshoe trail

Very beautiful itinerary on the domain of La Vattay, crossing the National Nature Reserve of the Haute Chaîne du Jura (You must respect the regulations in force).
Entry to the site of La Vattay is subject to a fee.

The La Vattay Nordic center, at an altitude of 1260 m, benefits from excellent snow conditions on the massif.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step: A very pleasant trail for regular riders. This trail offers a view of the Alps at the end. From the start area, follow the log barriers to the control chalet. Head towards the plateau, then into the forest on a track that opens out into an open area about 500 m further on. From here, follow the purple markers. Turn right at the first fork and right again at the second. Then follow the "La Gelinotte" signs.
