VTTAE circuit – Les Hauts de Lajoux

This walk takes you through the high alpine pastures of the Jura. Stroll around fields of multicolored flowers, and savor every moment!

A ride for every type of profile, the itinerary includes forest sections, road sections, white trails, etc. With a beautiful view of the Faucille when you get to Lajoux, it's the ideal way to discover VTTAE riding.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step: The signs are the same as for the hike.First follow the GR 9 downhill towards Mijoux, crossing the village on Rue Royale. Turn left at the church, and climb towards Lajoux. Cross the road, still using the GR 9.At Chalet des Trécombes, go straight on until you reach the entrance to Lajoux.Take the Forets Monts road on your right. Follow signs for Les Adrets.On your right, take the road over the fields towards the Amont marker. Follow the road for 200 m. The straight path will lead you to the chalet de la Semangindre.Take the Chemin du Chatelaine and turn right at the next intersection.Retrace your steps.Take the same path back to Mijoux and then La Faucille.
